Good morning Nakita and Wayne,

I’ve just returned from the Valley where I had no reception since Friday afternoon—otherwise, this email would have been sent as a priority first thing after settlement. Please bear with me, as there are a few important things I truly want to say.

Firstly, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all your hard work, support, and dedication throughout this journey. Your efforts enabled us to individualise our properties, sell them one by one, and ultimately exit the private lender we were previously tied to.

Your teamwork, guidance, and strategies helped us achieve what once felt impossible—freeing us from a financial crisis we had no idea how to escape.

The roles both of you played in our lives have been incredibly significant. You quite literally helped us save our home and put us in a position where we could sell our investments, releasing them from second mortgages imposed by the previous lender. Without your help, we would have lost everything—not just the properties and equity, but also the home where we belong.

Writing this email is emotional because it’s hard to fully express the distress and hardship we’ve endured since being scammed and placed in this situation. We were in a stable financial position built through years of hard work. As an average working-class family, we were unfortunately targeted, and we lost a significant amount due to being naive, vulnerable, and trusting. We didn’t realise what we had been drawn into until it was too late, and the impact on our lives was devastating. We truly didn’t know where to turn.

When Nakita heard our story and reached out, her knowledge, determination, and genuine care gave us hope. Her strength, dedication, and emotional support at every step helped us find the courage to trust again—even though that was incredibly difficult after what we had experienced. We are deeply grateful that we found Nakita.

We are equally thankful for your connection with Wayne at Marway Capital. Wayne, we are incredibly grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to exit the previous lender, restructure our situation, and ultimately save our home. Your fairness, kindness, and understanding meant so much to us, especially during such an overwhelming time. Your clear communication with Nakita on our behalf made the process far more manageable for us.

We also sincerely appreciate your support throughout the discharge process, which was a complete contrast to our previous experience. Unlike the former lender—who seemed to benefit from our failure—you supported us in moving forward and rebuilding.
